The second Bitcoin ATM in the world opens its doors in Hong Kong

Hong Kong (CNN ) - The second Bitcoin ATM world come to Hong Kong later this month, according to the software company U.S. Robocoin .
The machine , available for sale to individual operators as banks and private enterprises , allowing users to buy or sell bitcoins in minutes .
The process should be much faster than creating an account on an exchange or through mobile applications and computers, with which it could take a few days to verify the account.
The arrival of Bitcoin ATM is seen as a step to bring digital to the real world currency .
"Eliminate all the pain and barriers to entry for buy bitcoins in an online exchange ," said CEO Robocoin , Jordan Kelly.
"Our goal as a company is truly facilitate the acquisition ," he added .
"I think we're going to unleash the power of Bitcoin . Opens a portal virtual money where people can send money to and from anywhere, " Kelley said.
Here's how it works :
Customers should choose to buy or sell bitcoins .
Say you want to remove your Bitcoin wallet . After choosing an amount of cash you want to withdraw , the software installed on the ATM generates a code you have to scan with your smartphone.
Simultaneously, the machine produces a receipt.
After confirmation of the Bitcoin network on your phone, you can scan the code on the receipt from the kiosk , which then makes automatic teller takes the allotted amount of cash .
The machine is also equipped with a hand scanner that creates a biometric identity authenticated , such as money laundering .
Bitcoin a fan of Hong Kong, Tsz Chun Cheng Casper said the ATM would work a bit like a vending machine " to buy and sell virtual goods ( Bitcoin ) instead of physical goods as a soda can ."
The first ATM Robocoin Bitcoin was launched in Vancouver , Canada, in October, and after a month of operation , transactions totaled $ 942,000 in total, according to the company .
Kelley said the company sold 50 ATMs and other operators around the world, but are not yet in operation.
Not every government in Asia is ready for a Bitcoin ATM .
China 's central bank issued new rules in December that prohibit financial institutions dealt with the digital currency. The bank did not illegal for individuals to have Bitcoin , but specified that there should be considered a currency.
Despite the setback , the executive director of Robocoin said he still firmly believes that China will come to accept Bitcoin .
" Citizens around the world love Bitcoin . The Chinese are very pragmatic in their approach , they just want to make sure they have a good understanding of the market and the use , "he added .
